Whether you are active or more relaxed, there is always something to do. Get away from it all by paddling a boat throught the canals or rent bicycles and explore the forests. Less than an hour's drive away are the sandy beaches of the Baltic Sea - Boltenhagen, for example - or a variety of other events and pastimes.

Typical towns of the area are Mölln and Ratzeburg, both steeped in history. With easy access (max. an hour) to:

• The shopping centres Schwerin and Lüneburg.
